experiment with eight LC methods in parallel and expedite methods development
Operating at microliter flow rates, the Eksigent ExpressLC®-800 system maximizes the productivity of your analytical lab by enabling eight independent methods to be executed at once, shortening HPLC method development from weeks to days.
With eight completely independent channels and up to eight different gradients, the ExpressLC-800 allows parallel evaluation of up to eight HPLC methods simultaneously. By combining fast flow rates with eight channels, the system delivers up to 10 times the sample throughput using less that 1/10th of the solvent. An intuitive software interface means that a single operator can run the instrument, and we’ve engineered the system so methods can be easily transferred to conventional HPLC with negligible re-optimization.
The eight-column ExpressLC-800 system multiplexes Eksigent’s fast and reliable capillary chromatography technology to deliver extraordinary analytical speed and throughput. The ExpressLC-800 offers true parallel HPLC with independent mobile phases, injectors, UV detectors, and rapid, precise adjustment of flow rate via Microfluidic Flow Control (MFC) technology.
Features-at-a-glance
Offers true multiplexed HPLC with independent mobile phases, injectors, and UV detectors.
With a footprint little more than that of 2 conventional HPLC systems, the ExpressLC-800 provides dramatic savings of laboratory bench space.
No positive displacement pumps or large volume mixers to waste time forming gradients.
Fast re-equilibration with a void volume of only 300 nL.
Monitor analytes of interest using a low dispersion, microfabricated 45 nL flow cell with array-based UV detection.
Optimized for 300 µm i.d. columns at flow rates of 1 to 30 µL/min.
In-line flow meters actively measure the actual flow rate of each mobile phase and provide immediate adjustments to deliver an accurate, consistent and precise gradient.
Built for speed and throughput
The ExpressLC-800 offers true parallel HPLC for dramatic savings in analysis time and labor. With the ExpressLC-800’s microscale capability you can run assays faster than with a conventional HPLC, increase sample throughput, eliminate dead time in your analysis, and cut solvent usage per analysis by 99 percent.
Run eight or more samples in the time it takes to run one using conventional HPLC.
Analyze tens of thousands of samples with less than a liter of solvent.
Run identical or different separations on each of eight fully independent channels.
Separate complex mixtures and re-equilibrate columns in minutes.
Consolidate gradient delivery, sample injection, optical detection, and eight-column throughput with a single system.
Sixteen powerful, miniaturized, built-in pumps drive the remarkably small eight-channel ExpressLC-800 system. With a benchtop footprint of just four feet, the integrated, eight-channel ExpressLC-800 system takes up 75% less bench space compared to eight conventional single-column systems, but delivers much more data in much less time.
The eight-column ExpressLC-800 system maximizes the productivity of your analytical lab by shortening HPLC method development from weeks to days through parallel method optimization. Get 40 times the throughput of conventional HPLCs, evaluate methods in parallel and save reagent and disposal costs. The system is so fast and economical, you'll never have to move forward on limited data in order to stay on schedule ever again.
