Designed for high-speed chromatography The ExpressHT-Ultra and Express LC-Ultra UHPLC systems are designed for rapid, high-resolution gradient chromatography and ChromXP columns feature chemistries optimized for these high speed gradients. To achieve fast separation times, the system flow rate is 2-8 times faster than conventional HPLC. These high linear velocities put added stress on the column, and stable packing is critical. Eksigent has developed a column system and packing process that ensure long-term stability, even at the extreme linear velocities of the ExpressHT-Ultra and ExpressLC-Ultra UHPLC systems. Simple, tool-free column installation ChromXP columns feature a novel end-fitting system that allows the column to be installed by hand, without the need for wrenches. The temperature-maintained ExpressLC column holder captures the column end nuts. This prevents the column from rotating as the end fitting is tightened, making it easy to apply the right amount of force for a proper seal. This novel end-fitting system cuts column change-out time in half and increase the integrity of your connection system.
